Customer can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the booking.
If customer cancel 6-24 hours before start of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount will apply.
This is to compensate helpers who have reserved their time for you.
If a customer cancels 6hrs less than service, 100% of the booking fee will be charged.
This ensures fairness to the helper’s time commitment.
If a helper cancels at any time, Dobby will:
Immediately inform the customer.
Offer an option to rebook with another provider or receive a full refund.
If customer reschedule >24hrs before start it is completely free of cost.
If you reschedule <24hrs before 50% fee has to be decided unless helper agrees to accept the reschedule.
<6hrs is considered as late cancelation, no refund.
If cancellation happens due to medical emergencies or unforeseen events, please contact Dobby support.
We review these situations case-by-case and may waive cancellation fees where appropriate.
