No Employment Relationship

• All Helpers on the Dobby platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Dobby.

• Dobby does not provide the services directly and is not responsible for how services are delivered.

1. No Medical Services

Dobby does not provide any medical or regulated healthcare services. Our services are intended for general, non-medical home support, such as companionship, domestic help, and daily assistance. If you require medical care, please consult a licensed medical professional.

2. Safety and Conduct

While we encourage professionalism and offer training modules to Helpers, Dobby does not guarantee the safety, qualifications, or conduct of any Helper. Customers and Helpers are responsible for their own safety, property, and behaviour during service engagements.

We recommend:

• Never leaving valuables unattended

• Agreeing in advance on tasks to be performed

• Being present (or ensuring someone trusted is) during bookings

3. Insurance Responsibility

Dobby does not provide public liability insurance or personal injury cover for either Customers or Helpers.

It is the sole responsibility of each Helper to:

• Maintain appropriate insurance (if applicable)

• Ensure they are compliant with local laws, tax, and liability requirements

Dobby is not responsible for any injury, loss, theft, damage, or claims arising during or after a service is provided.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dobby Connect Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Injury to persons or property

• Financial loss

• Misconduct or negligence by a Helper

• Breach of agreement between Helper and Customer

5. Emergencies

In the event of an emergency or incident, please contact local emergency services immediately. Dobby is not a care provider or emergency responder.
